It's tough for me to wrap my mind around these numbers for some reason.
Squirrel's gravel century had about 6500ft of climbing in 100.
RAO has about 7600ft every 100.
Squirrel's route didn't kill me off by any means, but multiply the distance by 5, speed by 2.5 and see what happens?
Makes TransIowa look a little easier.
I see alot of hill training in my future ;)

You Sir, are a glutton for punishment...is that your first or second dirty century this year?
Second. First one was the last weekend in January, in stupid weather conditions.

That's a crazy hill...where is it?
Sorry you missed us tonight. I don't know how you did. Ah well. My legs are sore.
I won't be there next week...going to be climbing in CO. Are you coming Thursday?
Oregon, on the RAO course. The link is in the header.
Climbing in CO? Spring break? Just going out to explore, or are you going to race too?
Thusday...maybe.
I felt kinda crispy tonight. Of course I did Starr's Cave, Roller coaster both ways, that first hill right after the out and back, and finished up on Division with a headwind, so maybe that had something to do with it.
First time I've been outside on the road bike since....uh...I can't remember. Felt pretty weird at first. I almost forgot what headwinds were....

Don't forget that cattle surenge when you come up this weekend:)

Spring Break is next week yes. Going out there to check out campus/housing. The college's race weekend is the weekend I'll be out there, so of course I'm going to race. Maybe we will see you Thursday. My pinky is still sore, but not as bad.
Wow. You continue to post some amazing crazy numbers on your blog. I'm so glad I discovered it. I have a lot to learn from you.
