If you haven't noticed yet, I've got a bit of a virtual yard sale going on. The link is also in the sidebar under my profile. Less is more, help me out here. And check back often, I keep finding more crap.
Dennis, I saw your comments in regards to Crank bros pedals. Today with 454 miles on a brand new set of Candys I had them come apart. That is not going to fly in my book. What other pedals are you considering?? Ari
If you like the float and mud shedding of Crank Bros, go with Time Aliums or ROCS. Super dependable, you won't touch them for years. Stay away from the ATACs as the cast bails wear out super fast.
Dennis, Have you tried the Time Z pedals. Since I have canoes for feet I was going to go with a larger pedal to relieve pressure on long rides. I wear a size 15 and normally get hotspots on long distance hauling. I was also considering the mallets but I am now turned off by the inners of crank bros pedals. thank you, ari
Z pedals use the same bails as the Aliums. I've had a set of Z pedals for seven years, still using them on the longtail actually, good pedals. I wouldn't advise riding trail with them though as they tend to catch stumps alot compared to smaller pedals.
