I should note that this led setup is powered by a 14.8v Li-Ion battery pack. The dyno light works great for training, touring, and general all around lighting, I don't regret investing in that setup. It was a tough decision, but knowing the stresses the body goes through after ther 20th hour of riding made me lean towards setting the world on fire. My triple cree puts out a light amount akin to my HID. Only the led head is lighter weight, has less thermal loss, a wider beam pattern, and hopefully better efficiency and reliability.

Looks good. Judging from the pic the light base must be pretty solid. Are all the lights aligned forward or the outer ones angled out a bit?

They're aligned, but there are three different optics in it 5deg, 15deg, and a 25deg diffuser.
Still waiting on the battery packs for the bike light.

What made you decide on this instead of the Lumotecs you were using? Better beam pattern?
